  • VFW Post 8184 Commander, Pleasant Lynch Jr., 83, of Campbell County, Va., has been a VFW Commander on three different occassions, dating back to 1966, when he helped form Post 9018.  Lynch served with the Army-Air Force during WWII in China, Burma and India. “If the Lord lets me stay here til Aug. 5, I’ll be 84,” says Lynch, who says his Post may soon have to close if they don’t see an increase in members.
